This Christmas has brought out an enchanting series of ads from various companies, and this list celebrates one thing they shared it common; the human experience of joy, love and gift-giving lies at the heart of the Christmas season. Enjoy this roundup of 10 Christmas ads, and suggest your favorites/anything I missed below!

1. Spread some Christmas Cheer! – Above

Grupo Piñero 2014 has created one of those heartwarming domino-effect videos where one good deed begets another. It opens with a girl taking a bad situation and writing something on a piece of paper. Follow the happy train of events as each person opens it, smiles, and finds a creative way to pass on the cheer. (Personally, I find the music addictive for its lightheartedness!)

2. Give a little happiness – Coca-Cola Christmas 2014

It’s the season to bring joy to others, and there are loads of little gestures that will make someone smile. Send a wish and give a little happiness this Christmas!

3. Apple – The Song

One young woman discovers an old recording of her grandmother singing. With some updated techs, she invents and orchestrates a one-man-band accompaniment to bring two generations together. Although an ad celebrating the inventive use of Apple, its message that technology should serve human relationships is timeless.

4. John Lewis Christmas Advert 2014 – #MontyThePenguin

No man is an island, and this Christmas, a little penguin is really struggling with his lack of a special someone. Christmas morning changes everything.

5. Sainsbury’s OFFICIAL Christmas 2014 Ad

This one deserved every click it got. 2014’s Christmas ad from Sainsbury’s – Christmas is for sharing. Made in partnership with The Royal British Legion, it commemorates the extraordinary events of Christmas Day, 1914, when the guns fell silent and two armies met in no-man’s land, sharing gifts – and even playing football together.

6. Man Surprises Girlfriend with Keepsake for the Holidays | “Piano” | Give Beautifully | Stella Artois

Maeve moved from Dublin to London so she could be with her boyfriend, Brendan. She was forced to leave behind her beloved piano as it was way too big to move. A passionate pianist, Maeve hasn’t played since. This holiday season, see the beautiful surprise Brendan plans for her.

7. John Lewis Christmas Advert 2013 – The Bear & The Hare

Watch the new John Lewis Christmas TV advert and see Hare give his best friend Bear a Christmas he’ll never forget.

Set in a beautiful forest, poor Bear is the only animal that never gets to celebrate Christmas because he has to hibernate every year. However, this year is different. This year Hare has a brilliant idea.

8. Get Off Your Phone?

This was the Apple iPhone Christmas Commercial 2013. One boy takes the family’s heat for apparently spending all his time on his iphone instead of joining in the festivities. In the end, he brings them a heartwarming surprise.

9. Canadian Tire Christmas Commercial 2012 “Runway”

Moving and changes can be big deals to a child’s life. In this ad, one little boy has moved to a new town, and is afraid that Santa won’t be able to find him. That’s when Dad steps in and works some Christmas magic.

10. John Lewis Christmas Advert 2012 – The Journey

Watch the new John Lewis Christmas TV advert that celebrates the extra mile we all go to at Christmas to find the perfect gift.

Called ‘The Journey’, the new advert opens in a family’s snow-covered garden, with children making a snowman and snowwoman. When the snowman has mysteriously disappeared the next morning, the audience is transported to a magical world, following the determined snowman on an epic journey across river, mountain, road and city. The motive for the snowman’s journey isn’t revealed until the last scene, when we see him return on Christmas morning.
